Langston University Lions Roar By Dallas Christian in Coach Wright's Debut

The Chris Wright era at Langston University got off to a roaring start as the Langston Lions dispatched Dallas Christian 94-48 in their season opener on Friday night at C.F. Gayles Field House.

The Lions roared their way to a 53-24 halftime lead over the Crusaders. In the opening half the Lions hit 52 percent (18-of-34) from the field and converted 14-of-19 free throw attempts while holding Dallas Christian to 42 percent (eight-of-19). It was much of the same recipe in the second half as the Lions outscored the Crusaders 41-24 en route to the 94-48 victory.
