The Langston University volleyball team managed to split in a triangular matchup with Central Christian and Sterling College on Friday evening.
In the opener the Lady Lions fell short 3-0 (20-25, 11-25, 14-25) in their matchup versus Central Christian. Langston was led in kills by Brieanna Owens (eight), assists by Allanah Drayton-Campbell (11) and digs by Samantha Clements (12).
The Lady Lions earned the split by sweeping Sterling College 3-0 (25-18, 25-14, 25-22) and moved their record to 6-6 overall on the season.
Owens and I'mani Pollard tied for the lead in kills with eight; Finehika Uhatafe registered 27 assists and Clements tallied 10 digs.
