Kaydrin Scott and Kayden Shaw are the Mavs Students Athletes of the Week.

Scott is a freshman from Hugo, Oklahoma, while Shaw is a freshman from Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Scott had 10 points, six rebounds, eight steals, and six blocked shots in one game last week.

“Kaydrin was a key player for us on both ends,” said coach Greg Krause.  “Being physically cleared two days before the start of our season, she is progressing very well. Her game conditioning is getting better with each game.”

Shaw averaged four points per game for the Mavs and provided energy off the Mavs bench in three games last week.
