On Tuesday, February 28, 2023, Governor Kevin Stitt issued an Executive Proclamation calling for a Special Election to be held to fill the vacancy of Logan County Commissioner District #2. The Candidate Filing Period for the Special Election will be March 13, 14 and 15, 2023. The Special Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 and the Special General Election will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2023. If a Special Primary Election is not necessary, the Special General Election shall be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2023.
To be eligible to file, candidates must be a resident of Logan County District #2 for a minimum of six months. Filing will take place at the Logan County Election Board, 224 E Vilas, Guthrie, OK.
