Tuition fees for Oklahoma residents attending Langston University rose by 2% during the 2022-23 school year, as revealed in the latest report, according to the latest disclosure from the National Center for Education Statistics.
Oklahoma residents were charged $6,639 to attend the four-year public university this year, an increase of $130 from the $6,509 tuition fee in the 2021-22 academic year.
Non-resident students paid 113.4% more than in-state students in 2022-23, amounting to $14,166. This represents a 2% increase from the $13,889 charged in the previous school year.
Approximately 42% of the undergraduate student body are Oklahoma residents, while 52% come from other states and 5% are international students.
Data indicates that 93% of full-time undergraduates who began their studies at Langston University in 2022-23 received some form of student financial aid. In total, 404 students were awarded grants or scholarships worth $4.4 million, and 316 students borrowed over $2.2 million in student loans.
Across the entire undergraduate population, 1,563 students received grants or scholarships totaling $17.6 million. Additionally, 1,102 students took out federal student loans amounting to $8.7 million.
