On Sunday, May 4, former Santa Fe High School standout Cayden Brumbaugh’s current college team, the Nebraska Cornhuskers, won 8-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Minnesota Golden Gophers.

The game took place at Hawks Field at Haymarket Park. This was their third matchup against the Golden Gophers this season.

The Cornhuskers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, May 6 at 6 p.m. at Hawks Field at Haymarket Park against Creighton Bluejays.
